 2016 TBF

The 2016 State Tournament will be held on Lake Granbury on April 2nd and 3rd.   Rob Jasper, Mike Pippen, Dale Sandvall, Brandon Carroll, Jimmy Walls and Gary Walden have signed up to compete.  Hopefully we can continue to send a member from the Club to the Regional tournament.  Good Luck Guys!

2015 TBF
Once again Fielder Church Bass Club sends a member to the regional tournament.  Shayne Dupree qualified as an alternate from the Texas State Tournament on Lake Amistad.  Everyone give Shayne a big "Well Done".
2014 TBF
Congratulations to Jason May for winning the Texas Bass Federation State Championship on Lake Sam Rayburn.  He will once again advance to the Regional Tournament in OK.  Well Done Jason!!

2012 TBF

Shayne and Austin going through the registration line for the National High School Fishing World Championship on Lake Dardanelle, in Russellville, AR, on July 21, 2012.  Tyler Woods and Austin Forrester finished in 4th place overall.  Shayne Dupree served as their boat captain during the tournament.  GREAT JOB guys!  Club members beware - we have another young stick coming up through the ranks.  Better start working on your A game if you plan to stay on top.

2012 State Tournament

Congratulations to Johnny Carroll, Rob Jasper and Jason May for qualifing for the Regional Tournament on the Red River this year.  These three anglers finished in the top 12 at the State Tournament at Hubbard Creek in April.  They get to advance to the Red River in June for the Regional Tournament with the top 2 anglers from Texas advaning on up the ladder.  Give these guys a BIG well-done when you see them.

2011 TBF

Congratulations to all the members fishing the state tournament this year on Lake Belton.  All eight members managed to weigh in fish and JOHN ALLEN and JASON MAY qualified for the Divisional tournament to be held in Kansas in June.  JASON MAY also had Big Bass.  The fishing was tough, with a lot of small fish (under 14) and few keepers.  John and Jason both managed to get that kicker fish to finish in the top 12 and move on to Kansas next month.  Let's all give the TBF guys a pat on the back for a job well done.  FRBC Bass Club had the most members entered from all the state clubs (8).  GREAT JOB!

2010 TBF

FRBC Bass Club did not field a team for the Top Six this year.  Too many conflicts, not enough people.  We hope to do better next year.
Top Six Lake for 2010 is Lake Livingston
Dates for the Top Six tournament are Nov 20th & 21st.
Regional Qualifiers from the Texas TBF Tournament
State Tournament March 27/28, 2010
Lake Bob Sandlin
The FRBC Bass Club had eight (8) TBF members fish the Texas State TBF tournament on Lake Bob Sandlin.  Windy conditions and a cold front did not deter our own GARY TONGATE from putting fish in the boat and placing 5th overall in the standings.  Gary will now move on to the Regional tournament on Lake Truman, Arkansas in June.  Rob Jasper and Paul Roehr were on the bubble after day one but fell a little short on day two but still placed very well at 18th and 19th.  David Griffey finished at 21st, Johnny Carroll was 44th, John Allen was 51st, Mike Pippen was 54th and Gary Walden was 63rd.  This makes two years out of three that the Club has had a member qualify for the Regional Tournament.  Well done gentlemen!

2009 TBF

Top Six on Lake Granbury, November 21 & 22.
Rob Jasper & Jason May
Gary Tongate & Bill Lee
John Allen & Mike Pippen
Our Top Six TBF Team held their own on Lake Granbury.  Fishing against 12 other Texas Clubs, FRBC placed 4th.  Granbury was muddy from recent rains and the fishing was tough for all the contestants.  16 inch fish were hard to find but all our members contributed to the team total.  John Allen caught a 12 lb 13 oz .......catfish.  And Gary Tongate had a stripper.  There were some good door prizes and sponser gifts given away after weigh-in.  A great time time was had by all and we look forward to next year.
State Tournament Results, April 4th
Lake Conroe was not nice to our boys this year as the wind blew and the water
dirtied up, making the sight fishing hard to do.  The boys weren't in a talking mood
when I called them Saturday night but I did get that Rob Jasper placed the
highest in our group, with just  over 7 pounds.  He didn't know his exact place
but it wasn't in the top 15.  Guess we will have to wait for our April meeting to
get all the details.
Congratulations to the guys for showing up and doing their best.  There is always next year!
Rob Jasper with a TBF fish on Lake Conroe on April 4, 2009

The top 12 finishers at the State level get to advance to the next round
and represent our State in the Divisional tournament.  Watch for results
